Thermal spray zinc aluminium coatings are showing the best performance for offshore steel constructions. Our RZ-GUN allows the full automatic onsite coating of monopile tubes. The automatic travel of the RZ-GUN has the advantage, that XL pipe doesn´t need to be rotated during the coating process
Gearbox Housing
This two-piece design can be coated in an assembled position. The separation area will be masked during the coating to make separation possible.
Dead end bearing seats from 2500 mm down to ø 150mm and 900 mm inside the housing are possible.
Gear Planet Wheel Adapter
The problem for the shafts of the planet wheel are that they are not in the centre. RZ-GUN can be positioned at each single shaft center and perform also the coating on outer ø from 100 mm up to ø 500 mm with a travel of 900 mm.
Maritim Propulsion Drive
Bearing seats for the 6 blades are located out of the centre of the main housing. RZ-GUN can be positioned at each single shaft center and also perform the coating on outer ø from 100 mm up to ø 500 mm with a travel of 900 mm.
Water Turbine
Wear in the pressure piping and turbine housings can be repaired by applying worn material. RZ-GUN can supply metal coatings on ø up to 8000mm. Coating tolerances are at ± 0,2 mm, which will make sure to get the lowest possible gap between the blade and the housing to achieve the highest efficiency.
Biogas Mixing Equipment
Wear at the mixer and the housing of a biogas plant is significant. The combination of high corrosive and abrasive wear leads to short survival of the mixing equipment. RZ-GUN will offer a wear and corrosion resistant coating.
